Lord protect me from false demonstrations of gallantry
And do not let them diminish the sacredness of my duty to others
May I treat everyone with civility and politeness, no matter
Their station in life or their demeanor towards me.
Help me to hear my conscience when it tries to protect me
From behavior that will make me feel guilty.
Remind me of my duty to willingly help those who
Are in need.
I commit never to be condescending to anyone
Who looks up to me.
Nor will I judge anyone by laws that
I have chosen to follow.
Give me the strength never to bear anger and malice
to the least and worst of my enemies.
I undertake never to influence anyone to do wrong.
Let me always treat everyone with fairness and
Without prejudice.
Above all
May I prove trustworthy in all my dealings.
May the Lord intervene and
Guide me through my times of weakness
And protect me from the temptation
To break any of these prohibitions.
