The greatest of all happiness. Paramahansa Yogananda

The greatest of all happiness, next to Divine happiness, is to find yourself at peace with those who are immediately related to you, those with whom you have to live every day in the year. So many people try to handle the most complicated machinery of human feelings without any training whatsoever, and consequently the results are often disastrous. Very few people know that most of our happiness lies in the art of knowing the law of human behaviorism. So many people are often in hot water with their friends, and above all, in constant war with their own best beloved ones.

The greatest law of behaviourism is not to co-operate with, but silently resist by your spiritual actions, the wrong doings of your loved ones. Do not adopt vulgarity, physical threats, and incivility, in trying to prevent the Erroneous doings of those whom you love. Remember, by adding your own impatience, anger, excitement, or ugliness to the ugliness expressed by your family, you increase the power of discord in your dear ones and you unconsciously try to conquer inharmony by becoming inharmonious. Fire increases fire, wrath increases wrath and discourtesy stimulates others to be discourteous. So conquer wrath by calmness, stop quarrels by silence, inharmony by being sweet of speech, discourtesy by being courteous.
