The seers call in many ways that which is One; they speak of Agni, Yama, Matarishvan.<\/p>\n<p>Rig Veda I, 164, 46<\/p>\n<p>All beings they unite and separate. They support the mighty Gods, but do not tremble. The One is lord over all things, fixed or moving, walking or flying&#8211;this whole multiform creation.<\/p>\n<p>Rig Veda III, 54, 8<\/p>\n<p>From afar I perceive the Ancient One, the Father of mighty power, the Generator, our connection, singing the praise of whom the Gods, stationed on their own broad pathway, go about their business.<\/p>\n<p>Rig Veda III, 54, 9<\/p>\n<p>If a man&#8217;s wife has the monthly sickness, she should for three days drink water from a cup made of bell metal. Let no sudra man or woman touch her.
