The Creator of Good,\u00a0 The Benefiter,\u00a0 The Propitious,\u00a0 The Auspicious<\/h2>\n

The One who helps and who grants all advantages. The One who creates all that produces benefit and usefulness.<\/p>\n

The One who grants all favorable circumstances. \u00a0The One who confers all benefits.<\/p>\n

The One who is continually blessing all of creation with goodness and all that is useful. The One through whom all needs are fulfilled.<\/p>\n

From the root n-f-’ which has the following classical Arabic connotations:<\/p>\n

to profit, to be of use
\nto be beneficial, useful
\nto have the use of something<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The name N\u0101fi’ is not specifically used as a Beautiful Name in the Qur’\u0101n.<\/p>\n

N\u0101fi’ (creator of good) is the opposite of\u00a0D<\/span>\u0101rr (distresser).<\/p>\n

The names\u00a0D<\/span>\u0101rr and N\u0101fi’\u00a0 are often used together to acknowledge the way that balance and harmony are established and maintained. These opposing attributes are often inseparable, since that which is the sweetest nectar to one person may be bitter poison to another.<\/p>\n

Such opposites help to make one aware that every action accomplishes some purpose and is, in the grand scheme of things, subservient to the all-knowing hand of All\u0101h, through whom balance and harmony are created and maintained… even if we don’t understand.<\/p>\n

Shaikh Tosun Bayrak wrote:<\/p>\n

When man looks at the universe, what he sees is All\u0101h’s will, what he\u00a0with<\/i>\u00a0is All\u0101h’s will, what he sees is All\u0101h’s will, and what he seems to have chosen is All\u0101h’s will.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

And in that manner, the pairs of opposites serve to remind one to constantly focus our attention on the glory of the One, regardless of whether the situation\u00a0 is smooth and easy or rough and difficult.<\/p>\n
